This scenic trail takes you down a steep slope towards the Oxtongue River. Enjoy a lovely walk along the banks of the river where small rapids can be observed. Make sure to take a guide with to read up on how this trail got its name as it is very interesting.
This trail sometimes floods in the spring or during heavy rain so make sure you check with the park office before starting out. Can you spot the artificial tree? A steep climb brings you back towards the parking lot.
Dogs are allowed on this trail but must be kept leashed.
