A spectacular trail that takes you up a steep climb to a rocky ridge overlooking Rock Lake. This ridge has several excellent lookouts. Excellent trail to bring a snack and enjoy the view.

The trail descends towards the site of the old Barclay Estate where you can still see remnants of this once magnificent estate of the logging baron J. R. Booth.

Follow the trail back on the abandoned railway line alongside Rock Lake. There is a lovely outcropping at the lake where you can further enjoy the view. A must do trail in the fall!

Dogs are allowed on this trail but must be kept leashed.
