This trail slowly climbs through a mixed forest with hemlocks to a lookout. There is a bench at the top with a view of Jack Lake.
The trail gradually winds down to Jack Lake and skirts along the edge of the lake with great viewpoints along the rocky shoreline. There is a beaver pond further up the trail.
Dogs are allowed on this trail but must be kept leashed.
